Warmest Welcome to 2023
As a new year rushes in all of us in Foundling are wishing you love and inspiration for the year to come. We’re feeling a cresting of a wave as we come into this new year in the wake of all the wonderful concerts last year in Spain and France and the UK. A needed sea change. We are thinking about how we would like to better engage with the communities we live in and visit. We want to make music for you while talking more about its roots and acknowledging where it comes from, the histories of the powerful sounds we are inspired by and borrow from. We want to talk about how to create safer spaces and inclusion for more people in the community to enjoy live music. We want to know your ideas and feelings about it and all participate in how to make our connections broader and more profound. Our newsletter will be changing into more of a call-and-answer platform and we heartfully invite you to share your voice..
I’ve been lucky enough to feel connected to the world and who I am through music and sound. I want to work harder to make that feeling exist in as many hearts as possible. Welcome 2023.
